Here is a list I started keeping on paper before I even had a computer. Songs qualify if they: (1) mention a specific day of the year, (2) have a date in their title, or (3) refer to a famous event that happened on a given day.
In those instances where there are more than one choice for a day, I gave preference to those that actually mention the day, and for some duplicates I chose the more popular song or artist.
